Test delivery methodology aligns to SDLC methodology chosen for project delivery. It involves the following- Requirements Review, Test Planning, Detailed Test Design, Test Execution, Defect Management, Test Results & Recommendation Reports. Key deliverables include test plan with detailed test cases & test recommendation report. These documents will need to be reviewed and signed off by the stakeholders. 

 

Test plan will cover scope of testing defined in line with the requirements and customer needs, details of the test environment including any stubs/downstream systems that are necessary, specific needs in relation to test data, resources, schedule, risks/issues & mitigation etc. Test Report will cover what was tested, defects detected/resolved and outstanding defects and recommendations.
